Background
DOSS Business Systems opened its doors in 1989 in a small one-room facility with one employee. The business specialized in computer technical support, sales and cabling. In 1992, Paul Doss purchased a 100% stock buy out of the corporation Terill Business Systems, Inc. A DBA (doing business as) name change with the state of OHIO took place in 1993. The purpose of the DBA name change was to give DOSS some independent identity and recognition. Please note that Terill Business Systems, Inc. and DOSS Business Systems are one in the same. Both names represent the same corporation.
As business began to grow, DOSS moved its business to downtown Greenville and hired more employees to fill the demands of growth. The business continued to expand by specializing in network design with reliability and ease of operation in mind. In November, 1996, DOSS moved to its present location. The new location enabled DOSS to add additional staff, increase the equipment line, and expand its service and support departments. In 1997, DOSS purchased Telcom Business Telephone Division and became an authorized Toshiba sales and service center. The acquisition of this business has positioned DOSS to now offer personalized integrated computer and/or communication systems. Our solutions provide customers a competitive edge in the business environment through turnkey solutions where we provide all design, implementation, installation, training, and support. In 2005, DOSS announced the acquisition of the assets and customer base of J-Tec Inc. Customer Premise Division (CPE). In 2016, DOSS announced the acquisition of the assets and customer base of County Start Networks. |
Do you have a remote office? Do your
offices need to connect and share data? What if there was a way to connect data AND get free voice over the same circuit… you could have the remote office running in real time for data and talk…fax and print, all for the same line charge. DOSS does that! |
